The amount of time it takes to complete the mediation process is dependent upon what issues need to be addressed and the willingness of you and your spouse to come to agreements that are equitable for both. During your consultation, the mediator will have a more in depth conversation regarding the length of time you can reasonably expect to complete the mediation process based on information gathered that is unique to your specific situation.
Mediation is voluntary, and it continues as long as the parties involved want it to. The process is designed to be flexible and the mediator will make every effort to guide the parties through the process at a pace that is comfortable for them.
